Where is Beckham Now?
If you haven’t been paying close attention to the Soccer world lately, you might have just completely forgotten about David Beckham. Well, the dude is 32 now, and is playing for the U.S.A. Major League Soccer team, the mighty (drum roll please) – L.A. Galaxy!!!
(Sarcasm: OFF)
The thing is, Beckham still expects to be called by Fabio Capello (England’s coach) to pay for England. But, what happens when the super MLS goes on “vacation”? Well, David Beckham contacted Arsenal’s coach, Arsene Wenger and asked for permission to train with them until MLS comes back in March 08. Arsene Wenger, being the French that he is, said “Oui, oui, but of course!”. So Beckham joined Arsenal for training early in January in hopes to keep his shape in order to be called by Fabio Capello on England’s
next game against the Swiss.
FAIL! Fabio Capello isn’t counting with Beckham for now because he hasn’t being playing officially since November 07. Fail. Such is life. I still like Beckham tho, and he deserved better treatment at Real Madrid.
So there you go, that’s what Beckham is been up to lately.
